The ORIGINAL Chick-fil-A

On our way out of town from Atlanta, we were feeling Chick-filA deprived. My mom mentioned that the very Chick-fil (also known as the Dwarf House) was just south of Atlanta. We had to stop!I am pretty sure I have been to a Dwarf House before so I wasn't expecting a whole lot of change. When we walked in it was like a weird more chicken-y version of the Twilight Zone.I know you can hear the Twilight Zone theme song in your head too. The restaurant was in two sections (I really should have taken a picture of that, but we had a lot going on with seven people.) Half the restaurant was diner style with booths and waitresses that take your order at your table and call you "honey" and "darlin." They also had real menus which meant no ordering by number. I am a self-proclaimed Chick-fil-A ordering expert, but that part really threw me off. How do you order a "number one" without numbers? Anyway, there was a bar that you could eat at like at Waffle House. Then, on the other side of the restaurant it was a regular Chick-fil-A.
Jeremy was very excited about the mural on the wall that had the seven dwarfs loop across the picture.
Your meal is served on a real plate with real silverware. Although, the cups are still good ole' foam cups, and you can order regular or waffle fries. The best addition to me was that in traditional dinner style, you can order your Chick-fil-A sandwich smothered (in onions), covered (in cheese), or whatever it is that they do with mushrooms. Eric and Joey had bacon cheeseburgers from Chick-fil-A! While it was tempting to try, I felt it was a little too creepy to have beef at Chick-fil-A.
