Wah

A very quiet but very important member of our family is having a "birthday" today.... Wah is turning 5! He will be celebrating his birthday at school with Jeremy for the teddy bear party.

Our final stop on the way home from our vacation we went to our Grandmom's house. Our uncle Jackson and family were able to come hang out with us for a while too. I could be wrong, but I think this was the first time they have met Jeremy. We had a little birthday celebration for all the July birthdays (Hill, Matthew, Jeremy, Eric, and Rachael.)Jeremy had the best time playing with his cousins. Any chance to play-fight with some teenagers is a good day for Jeremy. (Look below to see some videos from Grandmom's house)
And we got some hugs from Grandmom.

Summer Birthday Celebration

Thursday at school we had a Summer Birthday party for all the kids that have birthday's during the summer. This is a really big deal for Jeremy. He has been waiting since the beginning of school to get to decorate his own birthday crown. Here are Jeremy and his buddies that are turning five this summer.

The class had a party complete with pizza and cupcakes. And what kicks off the beginning of summer better than a silly string fight!

At the Park, February edition

We had a play date at the park with friends today. Jeremy loves any opportunity to play with the Blessing girls. Kenia and Lisette came to the park with their crew of children. We all celebrated Alina, Michael and Hopers birthdays with cupcakes. We were also very happy to meet Tobey today, and he is such a sweet little boy! Jeremy has talked about him non-stop today because Tobey speaks Chinese.

Roller Skating Party

One of my friends from work had a birthday party for her son at a skating rink. I thought that Jeremy would have a lot of fun, so we all went to the party.
Only my little monster could pout about skating. These are two of Jeremy's friends from school, Colby and Kate.Jeremy eventually got the hang of things and had fun.... especially when we let him take his stakes off and run around the rink. Below is a video of Jeremy attempting to stake.

Happy Birthday, Faith!

We had a lot of fun at Faith's costume party this afternoon. Although Jeremy was the only boy at the party (other than Mr. Seth) he still had fun and I don't think he even noticed.

It was fun watching all the girl's in their princess costumes and girly stuff like kitty cats and lady bugs.Jude even dressed up as an army dog and got to participate.

We love Hopers who is growing up way too quickly!

And I think Tabitha wins the most adorable costume award! We noticed Jeremy's costume said "Danger Jet Exhaust." Does anyone else think all men should have to wear these on their backs?

Happy Birthday, Nicole!

Happy Birthday to our friend Nicole! Jeremy was very confused about how old Nicole was. But I assured him she is 4 now just like Jeremy. Lisette did an amazing job on the Neopolitan barbie cake.

We played a scavenger hunt game where we got to look for outdoor-sy things (including bugs and frogs.) That is always exciting!
So Micael was really happy the whole time, he just really didn't want to wear the hat.

Happy Birthday, Kiera and Kayla!

This was our first Trousdell Gymnastics birthday party and it was a welcomed change from Zoink's. Our friend has two daughters with birthdays a month apart and they had a joint birthday party. Even with a cast, Jeremy was able to participate in all the activites. He loved Junior Gym at school last year, so this was really fun for him too.
I did let him jump into the foam pit. Injured or not: a boy's gotta be a boy!
Birthday girl number 1: Kiera was in Jeremy's class last year. We love Kiera's sweet smile and how she is never in a hurry.
Birthday girl number 2: Kayla is a wonderful big sister and so smart and fun to be around.

Welcome to the World, Avonlea Rose

Our friend Melonie gave birth to a BEAUTIFUL little girl this morning. Avonlea Rose is 7 lbs 9 oz and 20 1/4 inches long. Avonlea is a miracle in every way and we are so glad she is here and healthy!
