Merry Christmas!
So here is a short recap of our Christmas day... Jeremy must have been a really good boy because he got what he asked for and he "even got stuff he didn't even ask for!"
Jeremy got daddy some wrenches and even wrapped it himself. Next time we'll use more than one strip of tape. At the bottom of this is a video of Jeremy's present that he got from Mommy and Daddy.
If you have seen Jeremy in the last month, you have most likely heard him talking about night vision goggles. He was very happy with them!
And meet Penelope on the left and Pleo on the right. Penelope is Jeremy's class mascot from school. We took her home over the Christmas break and are taking pictures of Penelope's adventures. And, introducing Pleo, our new pet Camarasaurus.
We had a birthday party for Baby Jesus complete with a birthday cake. Every part of the cake has a meaning. The kids really got into it.
Ya-ya got a new camera.
Jeremy loved his stocking a Nanny's house... he wanted to climb inside!
Jeremy and his best friend, Matthew.
Kelsie got a tea set. She loved it (because it has a hundred little pieces to drag around the house!)
Here is a video of Jeremy getting his present from mommy and daddy.

Meet Ari
By chance, we ran over to Joey's work tonight to get his work truck. I waited in the car while Joey ran in to get the keys. It took him several minutes, and then he came back out to the car with eyes as big as saucers and asked me to come in. When we got inside you could hear a little tiny purring. We quickly realized that the cat was actually IN the wall. Joey thinks their is a vent right behind here that leads into the wall. He used a couple screw drivers and pulled the paneling apart and this tiny kitten stumbled out.
Here he is fresh out of the wall. His eyes were glued shut with dust and gunk, and he was covered in dirt. But he appears to be pretty healthy. I cleaned his eyes off and he seems to be doing very well!
We got him home as quick as we could and got some cat formula and a bottle. He is very good at using the little bottle. He already finished his first serving of formula.
We haven't decided if we are going to keep him or not yet. We aren't the best with pets... but we did decide to name him Ari. It is Hebrew for "Lion." We thought it was appropriate for this brave little guy.

Jeremy's Dinosaur "Fossil" Dig
A few days ago I found this Dinosaur "Fossil" Dig thing at a shop. Jeremy is really into dinosaurs. And I know, I know! I said I would never have a kid into dinosaurs. I also said I would never be a teacher. First let me say, this would be easy to make at home. I am pretty sure that all this "rock" is made out of is very tiny rocks (that would probably be considered sand in other parts of the world besides the gulf coast of Florida) and a little glue. Throw a plastic dinosaur in the middle and you have yourself your very own dig.

Dog-O-Ween
We went to our first Dog-o-ween today. It was a lot of fun... but very different.
Jude got to dress up as an army man in his army shirt again, and Titus was a hotdog.
This guy was really funny. I can't decide if he is for Obama or making fun of him. I'll let you be the judge.

BUBBBLES! My bubbles!
This is just a reminder (mostly to myself) that fun can come in any form. Kids don't care! They just want a little family time.
Today at school we played with bubbles, so I brought the wants and trays home to clean it up. Jeremy had the best time in the backyard just running and playing with bubbles. Go figure.
Jude even enjoyed eating a few bubbles.

Day with Ya-ya and Eric
Today we spent the day with Ya-ya and Eric. First we went to the race car track and drove Jeremy's new car around. (This was his big birthday present this year.) We brought Jude to come play too. He really doesn't like leashes!
It is not a good idea to go to the track after it has rained... it is very hard to run a race car in mud.
Jeremy was very proud of his little car.
Next we went to Mimi's house to go swimming. Have I mentioned how much I love our new waterproof camera???

St. Simon's Island
Sunday after church we went to St. Simon's Island and played around. We went on the pier and saw some dolphins, people fishing and crabbing, and some pelicans. Jeremy tried to walk up and pet a pelican that was about the same size as him and I bet it would have tried to eat him or Jude at the very least. It was a really fun weekend.

Welcome to the family, Jude
After the Zoo on Saturday, we went to pick up our little Jude. He has been a really sweet boy! He is a miniature dauchshund, and the half brother of Ya-ya's Titus. Jeremy is completely in love with him and is pretty good with him too. Jeremy will run in circles and Jude loves to chase after him. The only problem is that Jude's little legs are so short he can't really keep up. More to come...

Nah nah nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah hey Jude
Here are some more pictures I just received today of Jude. His momma didn't want to let him go to far.
I bet it is pretty difficult getting pictures of these squirmy little guys. He is the middle one that is upside down in these two pictures.

And I think he is deffinately the cutest of his siblings (even though two of the others look just like him).

Jeremy and Mollie
Here are some pictures from today in Albany. This is BB's new puppy Mollie. She is a two month old Shih Tzu and already SPOILED! But, I guess if I was that adorable, I would be spoiled too.
I wasn't their the whole time, but I think Jeremy wore these McQueen bedroom shoes all weekend.
And BB got Jeremy the Transformer helmet.
Sunday morning, Jeremy didn't want to go to church with BB, he wanted to skateboard. They were running late so she let him wear it in the car, and by the time they got to church it was 2 minutes until the service started. That wouldn't have been so bad but she plays the piano and the Auburn head coach was speaking so the service was PACKED! So, she had to march him right up to the front of the church (remember there are NO seats because it is packed) and he sat on the stage next to her while she played the piano and he was still wearing the helmet!

A growing family
Here are some new pictures of Jude! I just got these from the breeder. He looks like a handful already. We are all so excited to meet him and have him nipping at our toes and peeing all of the floors. :) Patty, says she thinks he might actually be a long hair, but we really won't know for a few more weeks.

OK, so here is our fish news (because you know that is the most exciting thing we have going on!) We had a little algae problem in January, and bought a rubber-lipped pleco named Ya-Ya Lollipop, who only lasted a weekend. Jeremy said she was "too scared and tremble-y, so she died." Then, in early February we got a spotted Cory catfish (also named Ya-ya). The new Ya-ya is very happy and fits in very well with our clan of fish. Ya-ya is very outgoing for a nocturnal fish and I'm pretty sure she doesn't know she is not a goldfish.

I think Jeremy fish is pregnant. You decided, but if not then I'm putting him/her on a diet! No, not really. I'm not sure what to do about this. Does anyone know?
Oh, and Daddy fish is doing great except for he has some problems with eating air bubbles and he will get stuck at the top of the tank for hours until he can get them out. Fun stuff, I know!

That really means that it is NOT coming back home. So, we ended up with two new fish. Black Spiderman and the other fish we haven't decided if it is Mommy fish or Eric fish. We are up in the air on the new names. Black Spiderman reminds me of Jeremy he just won't stop moving! So, the picture below is really the best I could do. Also, Eric or Mommy fish (TBA) is really mellow and we liked him because he was really a gold fish and not orange.
