My Smart Little Man!

Jeremy learned how to write his name today! He held his marker by himself and wrote his name on his Father's Day card. (At school we celebrate Father's day a little early at school since we aren't in school in July.) Jeremy isn't into art and stuff like that so it has been a struggle to get him to practice writing. We are really proud Jeremy he is growing up so fast!

Art Project

Jeremy's new favorite thing is to make projects. This is Jeremy's first attempt at using scissors and a glue stick.

Crafts with daddy

Joey took the day off yesterday and helped Jeremy make this helicopter. It did come in a kit--he didn't just grab a piece of wood and make a helicopter. Although, if someone could do that it would probably be Joey. Jeremy is so proud of his helicopter.

Shamu

Today Jeremy wanted to make another project. He calls things like this his homework. So, today he wanted to make a nanny shamu and a Jeremy shamu. (Oh, and today Jeremy is a football player.)

Budding artist

Today, Jeremy was watching a movie with Alex, and all of a sudden he got up and went outside with his new coloring book that Alex gave him and sat in the grass and colored. The funny part is that this isn't the first time he has done this.

Jeremy's project

Today Jeremy said, "Mommy, I want to do a project." So, here it is! We made ladybugs out of modeling clay. Jeremy says they are Mimi and Jeremy. He was so proud of them.

My little artist

Yesterday, Jeremy spent the day at his Nanny's house. They had a ton of fun painting and riding on the 4-wheeler. Here are the pictures that my sweet boy painted.

Pinecone Bird Feeders

Tonight we made pinecone bird feeders with peanut butter and birdseed. Jeremy and Alex got a kick out of hanging them on the little tree in our front yard. Alex thought we were making a Christmas tree.

What gave me the idea to let the kids make these is that behind our house the city is clearing out the land to make an access road to the new Walmart. Hundreds of beautiful trees have been cut down. A few mornings ago, when I woke up and opened the blinds there were at least a hundred birds (Joey said they were doves) in our backyard. How cool, huh?

Jeremy's Art

This is Jeremy's first computer art. I think we have a future graphic designer on our hands.

Jeremy the Artist

Our new phase we are going through is being artistic. We were looking at Noodle's blog and saw her picture, so today Jeremy wanted to draw. The above picture of the chicken is for Honey and the picture below is Ash-E, who is in the hospital with a hurt leg . So, if you are one of Jeremy's favorite people, you might be getting a picture in the mail soon from Jeremy.
