Jeremy's class took a field trip to the Panacea Marine Lab. I was excited because I took the day off of work to go with them.

This is Jeremy's class.

These are two of Jeremy's best friends at school Gabe is in the middle and Ivan is on the right.

This was a cool boat they made into a fiddler crab habitat. It even had a tides that come in and out during the day. Most of the kids picked one or two of them up, but Jeremy wouldn't even get close to the boat.

Once again, here is the horseshoe crab habitat. Most of the kids got to hold one... Jeremy, well, not so much.

On to the touch tanks... Aubrey finally talked Jeremy into holding this tiny starfish.

And Bryce got him to hold a seacucmber.

They had a big tank with two nurse sharks.

I thought this sea turtle that they rescued from the oil spill was really pretty.

And there is Jeremy standing in the back away from the sting rays. He is so funny!

I think this was the highlight of most of the kids trip... this is a new octopus that the marine lab just got. It was hiding in one of the little house things until our guide fed it some lunch so it would come out... Lunch was some of those fiddler crabs from the boat habitat.

After the marine lab we had lunch at a park nearby. It was a really fun day!
