Jeremy had his first homework assignment yesterday. The assignment was to bring in three to five things that he could you to talk about himself. Mrs. Yolanda gave him a regular old brown paper lunch bag to put his items in. As she was explaining the assignment, she was saying things like, "this isn't a scary bag," and "its just a lunch bag." When we got home, I understood why she was saying those things. Jeremy only wanted to bring his Star Wars toys, a football helmet and his life size Optimus Prime (OK, maybe Optimus is only 12 inches tall.) It took us at least an hour to "negotiate" his toys and why they are about him. So, here they are....
1. A transformer. Well, we couldn't get around bringing a transformer. But Jeremy does love his transformers!
2. An FSU football because Jeremy loves all sports and he wants to play football at FSU.
3. A Motorcycle. I'm sure he only told his class that it is Wolverine's motorcycle, but Jeremy told me that Eric has a motorcycle (you should be proud, Eric!)
4. A picture of his family. This was a hard one to sell to Jeremy that maybe he should add this to his bag. He really wanted to bring a picture of Jude... but I didn't have one available.
5.Shamu. Because Jeremy loves animals and we go to SeaWorld a lot! And Shamu is his favorite!
