Day one of our trip ended up being a long shopping day in St Augustine while it poured all day! Yea for me, but not for the boys!
Day two was fun, on our way from St Augustine to Savannah we got to stop by and visit our sweet friends in Brunswick with their new baby boy!
Day three (now we can get into some pictures) we started our morning out at Tybee Island. It was a beautiful day. Hot. But beautiful. We had a great time just playing in the water, making castles, playing on the pier, watching dolphins... all until Jeremy got stung by a jellyfish. He was really brave and didn't cry, but he was definitely all done in the water! So, we moved on to the next activity...
I had read about this Pirate restaurant that sounded really cool, so we ate there. The food was OK, but it was absolutely worth it for Jeremy! He had the best time and even got a tour from a "real" pirate. He says his favorite part was seeing and hearing about the tunnels under the building.
After lunch we started to walk down River Street. Did I mention earlier it was hot... over 100 degrees and humid, so we didn't stay long.

Our trip was short and sweet, but it was much needed before the crazy, hectic world of school and my work begins! Yea for family time!!
