Geocaching (v.) - 1. treasure hunting using a GSP

I recently heard about this cool game called geocaching. As soon as Joey and I started reseaching the how-to's, we were both hooked! We found a great deal on a Garmin handheld GPS and set out on a new adventure. If you haven't heard of this awesome game, check out the blog at allhisblessings. Those Blessing girls are such talented writers, it seemed silly to write about the same thing. This blog, however, is about our first trip out geocaching. We found a couple of points at the Greenway and set off on our adventure. Jeremy - of course - leading the way! This was what we found after almost a mile's hike. I know what you are thinking, "that is a tree... just an ordinary tree." Well, you are mostly right...
If you knew what you were looking for, you might find something near this tree like Jeremy did.
This is a Geocach! A well hidden container just a few feet off the trail.
Inside the box, Jeremy picked out a little lego man as his first prize for finding a geocach (and we left a little something as well.)
