Road Trip to Brunswick

Tara and I took a roadtrip with all the kids to visit our friend Kelli in Brunswick, GA. (As you can see any trip over an hour with this crew they needed to be lulled into a tv induced coma.) We had so much fun and the kiddos had a great time playing together! Yes, Jeremy played with barbies, but he was very manly about it.Our first day there we took the kids to the Georgia Sea Turtle Center. Everyone had fun learning about the sea turtles. Our favorite part was the "turtle hospital" where they had about fifteen sea turtles who were in recovery from one problem or another. Jeremy was staning on the little platform so he could see over the railing and he slid off and cut his leg. It was a really bad cut so some of the sea turtle doctors had to operate on his leg. Other than that it was really fun! We even got some ice cream afterwards. We had a lot of fun doing things around Brunswick with the kids, but we also had fun helping Kelli with her yard. Here are some before during and after shots of all the work we put into the yard.
While we were doing all that yardwork, I was dumping rocks in the backyard when I noticed a berry bush. It was a wild blueberry bush. We quickly figured out they have more than 30 blueberry bushes growing in their backyard! Of course, Hopers was quick to eat most of the berries right off the bushes because she was STILL HUNGRY!

It was really funny to me to hear hopers say she was still hungry every five minutes even after having a meal. Anyone who knows Jeremy at all knows he does really like to eat. So, here is an example of Jeremy eating his dinner and Hopers eating hers. I promise we do feed him when he is hungry! One day we went to the local water park with the kids. They had so much fun! Jeremy went on his first real water slides. Although, I think the lazy river was his favorite!
