Memorial Day at the Suwannee

Another holiday weekend, we must be headed to the Suwannee. We had a really awesome time with Wanda and David!
Jeremy got to play with his buddy Matthew all day! I hung up a sheet in one of the closets and pulled several pillows in, and the boys stayed in their for hours with flashlights. They really are two peas in a pod!
Sunday afternoon we took a boat ride up the river to Fanning Springs. It had looked ominous all day so we didn't think much about it when we got in the boat and headed up river. About 10 minutes after we docked the bottom dropped out and the heavens opened up... and we all got wet.
The boys didn't mind so much because they were already wet and cold. There was a really fun rainbow that circled the kids. Can you see it? Anyway, it didn't rain for too long and we all made it back without being water logged.
Later that afternoon, Joey had nothing to do and he found a tree that needed a swing in it. So, he found some cable, eyelet bolts, cable clamps and a piece of wood and made a swing. It is so nice to have a handy husband! Anyway, I really like it... and Aunt Wanda's first words were that it was "Magestic."
Jeremy and Matthew gave two thumbs up, so I guess that is what is important!Monday Mimi and Ray-Ray came down for a visit with Rhian. They played for most of the day on the jet ski.
Mimi, Wanda and I put this puzzle together too. I am really proud because I'm not a puzzle kind of girl... but we did it!

Happy Memorial Day!
