Happy Easter!

We had a really fun day for Easter. I was really to be excited that the fog of sickness had lifted and I was able to enjoy the day. Jeremy was super nice to let us sleep in until 8 am before we had to go see what the bunny had left for him. Apparently, the carrots and celery were a big hit with the Easter bunny and he went a little crazy with the candy in the eggs. Luckily, my kids at school will help take care of some of that candy. After church, we had lunch and more excitement at Nanny and Papa's house. Nanny made more baskets for each of the kids too. (Yes, containing still more candy!)
Kelsie got a princess crown with earrings in her basket. I guess she is officially the princess of the family! My sweet Jeremy in his Easter outfit BEFORE he played in the mud!
Daddy spent all last week making these egg shaped pinatas for each of the kids (filled with MORE CANDY!) Oh, from left to right we have Jeremy, Matthew, Nicholas and Katie (Mrs. Naylor's sweet granddaughter.)
The pinatas were a little to heavy to hit from a string so instead we played teeball with them. After our pinata cracking fun we had an Easter egg hunt. Joey and I hid about 120 eggs for the kids.
I have to say, watching the excitement on their faces when they find a simple little egg is one of the most funnest parts of being a mom. Maybe I should start hiding all of his presents....
Unfortunately, they were filled with still more candy!
