The Tree

We got it done! The house is decorated for Christmas. I think decorating the Christmas tree is my favorite part of Christmas. I can admit I have a serious obsession with Christmas ornaments! Before putting them on the tree, we talk about every ornament: where it came from, who gave it to us, any significant meanings behind it, and what year it was and of course we measure time in B.J. (Before Jeremy) and A.J. (After Jeremy) Jeremy is holding his ornament for this year which is the Where the Wild Things Are ornament because that is his favorite book to read at Mimi's house.

Our Christmas tree is small. It is only a 4.5 feet tree that Joey got from his parents in 1999. I don't think any of the lights are original. This year, we had to replace a whole row of lights. But it is our tree, and we will treasure it until there is nothing left... or we have too many ornaments to fit on it. (It is really a toss up which will come first.)
