Suwannee River Boat Trip

This weekend we took a 60 mile trip down the Suwannee River from the Santa Fe River down to Manatee Springs. Here are a few pictures from our trip.

This is where the Santa Fe river meets the Suwannee. (we are on the Santa Fe headed south, the Suwannee is upstream to the right)

We stopped at Branford for a potty break. This is about as far north as we could gobecause it gets very shallow north of this area.

We found several small fresh water springs that were right by the river. Jeremy loved wading in the water and fishing.

We stopped at Fanning Springs so Jeremy could swim for a little while and we spotted a momma and baby manatee taking a little break right by the springs.
