Christmas Program

At school I helped with the kid's Christmas program last week. It has been a crazy few weeks trying to teach 80 three year olds 4 to 5 new songs with sign language. I was completely amazed when some of them actually got it. So, here are some pictures of the kids doing their thing. Most of the kids you see are pre-K or Kindergarden which is why they are paying attention and not looking anywhere but at their teachers.

Anyway, Jeremy made it through his classes two songs on stage, but bolted for the two group song where the whole school sings together. He never did actually sign, but he stood their. (Thank you Mimi for rescuing him from screaming through the whole program.)


They are singing one of the group songs "My Christmas Prayer" to the tune of Amazing Grace. It has about 20 different sign language signs in it which has been torture to the three year olds, but they look so cute doing it on stage.
