Today I was in the car with Jeremy and he was being rotten. Sometimes in order to get him to change his mood and calm down you have to completely change the conversation. So, I said, "Jeremy, I love you."
And he stopped whinning about something and said very sweetly, "I love you too, mommy."
I was completely thrilled and replied, "You are beautiful!"
And that stinker said, "You are beautiful too, mommy... like me!"
