Learning about colors and seasons

This is "Orange Week" at the Roberts house. Each week we have been learning about a color. So far we have done red, yellow and blue. For the first time, Jeremy is starting to catch on. He knows orange! Some times he knows red, and everything else he thinks is blue. But orange, he gets it!

Yesterday we went for an orange walk where we looked for things that were orange. Mostly flowers and pumpkins. Then we collected some leaves of various sizes and shapes and did leaf rubbings. Ok, so having a 2 year old rub leaves is a little advanced, but he understood about the shapes and stuff. And it is never too early to teach your child God made leaves and trees, seasons and colors, and God made Jeremy.
